My name is Chase and I tell stories all across the world with a camera, pen, and computer.

When asked why I want to pursue media, I usually rack my brain to find a complete answer. Although I might reply by saying I want to provoke nostalgia or create something beautiful, I was never able to fully answer the question—until I had a small interaction with a high school art teacher. 

When commenting on my photography, this teacher wrote: 

"I always tell my students that you've succeeded as an artist if you made someone FEEL something..... a smile, sadness, curiosity, care, or even just "the good for nothing" feeling of making you feel good. You've done it! When I saw this picture today, I wondered if there was a place in my house that I could frame and hang it."

I realized this is my reason: to make someone feel something.
